- okie, I have no idea what the details Ryuuho's explaining are (yet), but I am TOTALLY DOWN with a full destruction wheel in the new element system. <3

Oh, and Kouga only had the Saori flashback once! Amazing :o

Yeah, but it was still at a moment that kinda made me facepalm. Kid needs to learn to do stuff on his own, too.

Ryuuho is pretty darned awesome though. And everyone adores him (though it's hard not to-- he's cute and talented and personable)~~

Kid needs to learn a lot of things, doing things on his own topping the list. This is not an inspiring lead character, seriously.

Yes, he is X3 But I'm reserving judgement on what the student body thinks of him until I get subs and can winkle out why -- aka whether they adore him, or his pedigree.

Personally I'm banking on that second option.

Nope. I can understand a bit of obliviousness is necessary to help explain things to viewers, but Kouga is one dumb potato. *sighs*

Also, I couldn't figure out what was going on with Ichi either. Except randomly he did/didn't have eyes.

Ichi's stuck in with the scrublets when they're doing the elemental exercises and dressed the same, he must be a student. Not sure what to make of that (maybe having to relearn the new techniques) -- it's not like he was ineffectual as Hydra.

The eye thing annoyed me -- there's always been characters with blacked-out/solid black eyes (Ichi, Shunrei, Black Dragons, Myu ...), they didn't need to screw with that randomly just to give him a stereotypical expression when he was in Kouga's face. Lack of originality, go --

Yeah, that's what really struck me. Hmm... I guess we'll have to wait and see?

I was just surprised because it shifted -- I was thinking he had the blacked-out eyes and then nope and then I was confused and maybe thinking I was thinking wrong, which happens.

I wonder if this was the "surprise" we were going to get re Ichi -- aka being relegated to adult!student comedic effect. Wait and see, indeed.

Neh, you aren't wrong, they were just being annoying. Either that or Ichi's just having really deepset eyes as opposed to actually sold black ones; they've always looked duller than, say, Black Dragon or Myu frex.
