rampant Bronze-related speculation time!

So~ we know the whereabouts and status of Geki, Ichi and Shiryuu (more or less, in Shiryuu's case) so far. (Seiya's practically a nonstarter, the flashbacks we've had are so vague.)

Let's speculate on where everyone else amongst the first-run Bronzes could be! :D

Currently that means:

Hyouga
Shun
Ikki
Seiya
Jabu
Nachi
Ban
June

Of course it needn't be serious speculation, because seriousness is not quite this thing's strong suit atm, seriously ;3~

My random notions so far:

- Hyouga: Might be one of the two Gold Saints mentioned, it could be logical. And it would mesh horribawesomewell with a notion below. On the other hand he could be one of the roaming Golds -- or fucked off to Siberia. I'd like him to be in Sanctuary as Aquarius and dealing with whatever insanity is there, though, because I'm awful.

- Shun: I want(ed) him to be Andromeda back on FairyAndromeda Island and training up new whips-and-chains Saints. Palaestra looks to be a "finishing school" for already-chosen Saint critters, so this is still possible imo.

- Ikki: I want Ikki to be Leo }3 And clashing with Hyoga all the damn time }3 Unless something REALLY INSANE happens and he wound up being the Holy Father or summat since he's such a godmoding bastard, which would make clashing with Hyouga even more fun ~~ *brick'd ~~*

- Seiya: I'm standing by my "Seiya is still in a coma and it was a psychic projection in the flashback/when Kouga got Pegasus" because damnit, it's cooler this way! he's either in a closet on the moon-island or locked away somewhere in Sanctuary lol

- Jabu: ... is kind of perplexing me, given his obsession with Saori >.>;; That was a missed opportunity there. But you know, if he got some sense knocked into his head he could be part of a two-dude roaming kid finding team with Nachi and that would be kind of cool :D

- Nachi: Kid roaming dude! :D And he can smack Jabu upside the head when he's being a jackass. Because lol. (hell, neither need to still be actual Clothed Saints for this task either)

- Ban: I really can't shake the idea that Ban is 1) Souma's father, 2) therefore dead as a doornail >.>;; It's the matching appearance + matching Cloth; after all, it works for Ryuuho. Why else would Souma's family have been targeted by Martians unless there was a Saint connection?

- June: With Shun I should hope, whether beating basic training into scrublets-to-be (yes! :D) or otherwise. Although I could accept her as a Palaestra instructor if she gets to still be kind of badass -- we need a chick there.

Dear me, you read my mind or what? I went to sleep last night thinking of posting something like this here and lo! I wake up and here you are! *snugs~*

Though what I'm offering is a little off the center in the sense that I'm wondering as to what possibly could have happened to our Bronze lot in the 13 years that span Mars' first attack and his eventual abduction of Saori. I'm actually entertaining the idea that Mars (if not some other antagonistic figure who loathes Athena's guts but let's stick with Mars for now) attempted to off the closest remaining Saints to Saori, which leads me to speculate on the leading five Bronzies:

Seiya -- OMG HE GOT IN THE WAY >8O must off him asap because he's obvsly the most alert of the lot, regardless if he IS in a coma or not. I'm all for psychic projection in the pilot episode, my question is what's preventing him from doing it 13 years later?

Shiryu -- goddamn dude, you got a shit deal! X|;; Ryuuho said that Shiryu lost his five senses "in a fight when [Ryuuho] was little"; and seeing as that Kouga and Ryuuho are about the same age, it might just fall within the timeframe Mars is all GRRRR at Athena /o/

This leads me to think that the remaining three are kind of borked in various different ways. Save that right now, 2/5 Saints doesn't really work in my favor :P Who knows, the other three came out just fine and are in a Sanctuarian Sekrit Base where they know everything about what's happening and planning on a counter-attack! /o/

As for the other Bronze kids, I'm with you about not exploiting Jabu's obsession over Saori a bit more, but I like the idea of him and Nachi scouting out more scrublets. :3 AND BAN AS SOHMA'S DAD ajdfklsk X3 cutest image!

Hm, splatting Saints (which would make sense -- although I'm not banking on Earth Logic always being a strong suit, this is StS we're talking about lol) ... Mars should have gotten all of them, though, and Geki and Ichi at least are still knocking around ... Maybe they were overlooked again, poor bastards ;3~

If Seiya's doing the psychic-projection thing, he could be held up for a decade-plus just from getting his soul curbstomped and not having the strength/Cosmo/whatever to do it again. Until the appropriate Dramatic Moment [tm], of course ~

I'm a horrible person, I laughed at Shiryuu >.>;; becuase he does this shit to himself all the damn time, this is just more of it. The timing is interesting, though I just try not to think too hard on how much the obliterating-senses thing reminds me of Shaka.

Someone survived, theoretically, to be the extant Golds assuming those aren't new characters altogether, which is why I made my guesses I did. Or maybe I just want to see Swanboy in a redesigned Aquarius, seeing as he looks awful in it anyway }3

Ban as Souma's dad is a long, looooong shot, but I'd totally be up for it X3 the only thing that would be better is Babel, but alas he was dead at the time ~

I see your strikethrough text and it makes me wish we knew more Japanese, because the speedsubs do say "lost" and not, frex, "shut [his senses] down (in a voluntary manner)" -- which is very farfetched but since we're looking at Shaka for inspiration~

Any bets as to what color the Aquarian scarf-cravat will be? >3 (gods, I can see it now. Gold Saints with their colorcoded cravats~) *SHOT*

I say that if Shiryu can spawn a scrublet, I don't see why Ban can't have one! Ah poor dead man :(

Assuming the Palaestra existed then, yeh -- (also, looks like interesting back-developments in 05 but I need subs, wharrgarbl)

I could check the non-speedsubs of various types now floating around (including the Crunchyroll release), but admittedly so far I haven't been arsed X3 I wasn't thinking of Shaka's voluntary "blindness", though, but of his ability to strip the senses from victims.

Probably something hideous and blue-green ~ (they need something to replace the ugly little jewels and coloured trousers from the original anime ~)

Jury is still out at this exact moment, but I have to say my eyebrows just soared --
